DoubleTree by Hilton Hull has welcomed Ross Blezard as its new General Manager, bringing more than 25 years of hospitality leadership experience across Hilton Hotels & Resorts, luxury resorts and international destinations.
Ross joins the hotel at an exciting time as it prepares for the launch of the Horizon Suite, a new 300m² event space due to open later this year. The investment will further strengthen the hotel’s meetings and events offering, creating additional capacity for conferences, celebrations and large-scale events in Hull.
Located in the heart of the city, DoubleTree by Hilton Hull is one of the region’s leading hospitality destinations, offering contemporary guest accommodation, extensive event facilities for up to 1,000 guests, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill and the Lexington rooftop bar.
As General Manager, Ross will lead all aspects of hotel operations, guest experience, team engagement and commercial performance, helping to drive the hotel’s continued growth and development.
Ross joins from De Vere Latimer Estate in Chesham, where he served as General Manager. His career has also included senior leadership positions at Macdonald Aviemore Resort, Hilton Ramses Cairo, Hilton London Wembley and Hilton at St George’s Park.
